Student Activities

Our partner universities offer an array of entrepreneurship activities that go beyond the classroom, providing a rich infrastructure of support for entrepreneurial students, faculty, and start-up projects. CIEL expands on this system of support and ties the existing initiatives at UCPH, CBS and DTU together.
We offer financial support to student-driven activities within innovation, entrepreneurship and trans-disciplinarity.
Below are some examples of student activities we have supported financially.

Debate on Innovation: Concepts and Practices

What : CIEL has helped the interdisciplinary student organisation Begriff with funding and support in respect to a debate concerning the concept of innovation in contemporary danish context.

Shai Agassi in Denmark

What : CIEL and Venture Cup present Shai Agassi in Denmark
Shai Agassi, founder of Betterplace gave a 1 hour session on how to follow your dreams and succeed with your startup

Gate to Create National Conference

What : A network conference for the student entrepreneurship organizations at Danish universities focusing on enhancing collaboration and knowledge sharing between universities.
When and where : February 25th 2012 at NOVI, Aalborg University.

Suitable for Business

What : Business needs students of social science and humanities – and vice versa! Suitable for Business breaks down the barriers between business and academia by organizing a Conference and Case Competition.
When and where: March 20-23 2012, Ovnhallen, Porcelænshaven, CBS

CIEL at Career Days

What: For Career Days 2012 CIEL gathered the ecosystem for entrepreneurship support in Copenhagen in a joint stand. Partners included: Katapult, Katalyst, Createch, CSE, Venture Cup, Fonden for Entreprenørskab, Next Generation and Gate to Create. Our director Mikkel Trym did a presentation on how students can help create the future through entrepreneurship in collaboration with Bjørg Ilsø Klinkby, from the student-driven initiative Suitable for Business , Julia Skaar, participant at Katalyst Summer School , Venture Cup participants Active CPH and Jens Reimer Olesen, founder of Graduate Land.
When and where : Friday March 9th at Øksnehallen, Copenhagen.
